content, they get ranked very high. You can piggyback on their popularity by submitting an article and have it published.
How Do You Do It?
There are some specific things you need to keep in mind first though. For one
thing your articles should have some useful information for the reader. Whatever subject you’re writing about (anything related to the product you are selling), and make sure that your article is original and not duplicate content. Search engines and article directories don’t like duplicate content. If you are submitting more than one article make very sure it’s at least 85% original content or it won’t be published.

Keywords are the words or phrases that are typed into the search bar when
someone is trying to find something online. A long tailed keyword, more than three words long, is usually the best for this purpose since it simply doesn’t have as much competition as a one or two word keyword.
For example, which keyword phrase do you think would have more
competition: “dog training” or “dog training for rottweilers” ? Obviously the
more specific you can make your keyword the less competition you are likely to have, it’s also likely to send more qualified people your way since their search is very specific.
A good rule of thumb is to find a keyword that has around 1,500 searches a
month and less than 20,000 competition. You will have a strong likelihood of ranking high for keywords that fall into those parameters. Once you find your keywords you can write an article around them, and submit that article to an article directory, which is affiliate article marketing in a nutshell.
When someone searches for the keyword phrase that you’ve used in your article, they will find your article right at the top of the search results, if you’ve done it right. They can then read your article and click on the link you’ve provided in the authors box and they will be taken right
to your website.
This is a fantastic method to get free internet traffic. You know that it is highly qualified traffic since your keyword is so detailed and that is what someone was searching for. Just don’t get carried away and make the mistake of thinking if one keyword is good 10 must be better. No. The search engines don’t like keyword stuffing, neither do the article directories. Generally aim for one keyword per 100 words. This is a good guideline to follow.

Something else to keep in mind, when you go to submit your article to an article directory, which is free by the way, make sure that you follow all of their terms of service. If you don’t they won’t publish your article and if you break their rules too often they may just ban you completely.
Learn While You Earn
And last, but not least, take some time to learn the ins and outs of not only
affiliate article marketing but all aspects of your affiliate marketing
business. It’s not a hard business to learn but it is important that you learn
the various skills and how best to put it all together. If you try to skip this step it will take you a lot longer to make money online. Take the time, you can even earn while you learn, just don’t waste your time trying to put it all together on your own. If you do, you’ll waste a lot of time and money.
