Another thing to consider is the domain name that you choose for your site. The quality of your domain name can be a real factor in how much traffic your site gets. You want something memorable and easy to spell. Remember, internet businesses have to use word of mouth as a way to gain publicity just as much as offline businesses do. If your domain name has an odd spelling, is too long, or uses a lot of hyphens, it will be harder for people to remember and access. You should make it easy for people to save your domain name and recommend it to others. There are so many ways to get people to visit your site that it can be hard to choose which methods you want to focus on most.
